Pending paypal payment?

Someone bought an item from me on ebay. She paid through paypal but the payment is pending. Why is the payment pending? Does this mean that there is no money in the paypal account?

I have ordered many things and paid for them using paypal. I noticed that the sale is always listed as pending for sometimes a few days. I know I have the money in my account so I am not sure why that happens. I think it is just a technical thing on their part. I don't think you need to worry about.

Thats been the case with me. I also think it wouldn't even go through at all if they didn't have the money in their account. Once I went to pay for something and I thought I had enough money in my account but I didn't. It was then listed as denied.
