Who hates seafood?

My mom tells me when I was quite young, her, my dad and I used to sit down to a bowl of crab legs and garlic butter instead of popcorn to watch a movie. I vaguely remember this, but I do remember going on a crab fishing trip with my aunt and uncle when I was about 5 or 6 (I was REALLY seasick!) and bringing all the crabs back to my grandparents house. They were all scuttling around the deck, and I was playing with them with a butter knife. They’d grab it with their pinchers and I’d shake it a little until they let go. I was having a blast until my uncle came out, picked up the crab I had just played with, took it inside and dropped it in a boiling pot of water. I was devastated. He’d taken my friend away! And the sound… just like screaming (initially I thought the crab did scream, but I’ve since read that they don’t have vocal chords and that it’s the water escaping from cracks in the shell that causes this sound, not that it makes me feel much better). Since then I’ve never eaten crab again, and most other seafoods make me retch just to smell them. I’ve never been a big fan of fish either, so I pretty well don’t eat anything that lives under the water. Anyone else hate seafood?

I have a rule when it comes to seafood... Sorry I don't eat anything that swims in its own crap. I have had this saying since I was a wee child. I can't even walk past the seafood part of a supermarket without feeling sick to my stomach from the smell.

I can't stand sea food at all. No matter what kind it is I will not eat it.

I don't hate it, but I'm starting to not like it so much. I used to love shrimp and scallops, crab and lobster, but my husband has been asking me to make him this stuff so much that I'm getting sick of it. Whenever he's off, he wants to go have lunch at Red Lobster. I don't want to hurt his feelings, but lately, all I want is a nice cheesburger, either cooked at home or at a decent restaurant.

My husband too! He doesn't eat anything that lives under water... which I cannot understand because I love everything that comes out of the sea!

As a child I would eat just about any kind of seafood. These days I can't stand the smell let alone the taste of seafood. When I was about thirteen my sister cooked us shrimp one night for dinner. A few hours after we ate I got really sick to my stomach.I wasn't much better the next day so my mom took me to the doctor. I had food poisoning from the seafood. Ever since I won't touch seafood.

I absolutely hate seafood. Yuck! I neve have like seafood. The smell of it just makes me want to hurl and its not from some devastating story like yours either. Just something about it makes me sick. I'm glad I'm not the only one out there that hates seafood.

I eat sushi. I love this kind of Japaneses food! I eat it with sweet soy sauce. No wasabe for me! I love the pink salmon more than any other raw fish. I can eat raw fish also with the wasabi. I know some people in my country can't just eat raw food like that.
