Today a new fanpimp has opened to advertise the PS2 game .hack//G.U. Vol. 2. The overall purpose of a fanpimp is to reward users who spread word of the product with prizes. You have an opportunity to earn a .hack// ROOTS, Vol. 1 Boxed Set, T-Shirts, posters, etc. You also have a chance at having one of the characters in the third G.U. game named after you. You earn points by referring people(yeah, I am bound to post my referral link at the end of this post), participating in challenges, and uploading images. Judging by the first .hack fanpimp, I assume everyone will have enough opportunities to win something. It just depends on how active you are in the community For the most part, not much in needed in terms of work. You can earn points for your creativity on most challenges. Quizzes that you answer questions relating to the .hack series(there are enough fan sites that provide information, so it is not that hard). I noticed that most people who are looking for referrals just post saying how great a site is, with out really giving any information at all. They get people to sign up under them, so I figure why not give it a shot myself. At least I took the time to give some overview on what you can expect.
