My kids are always hungry for snacks.I came across this wonderfully simple recipe and wanted to share with you :D If you have other simple recipes like this, please share with me too ,thank you ! Energy Balls A sweet wholesome snack...tastes like candy, but good for you! Ingredients 1/2 C Peanut Butter 1/4 C Honey 1/2 C Powdered Nonfat Milk Chocolate Chips Instructions Mix all ingredients together, then form into balls (I make approx 1 inch, but you can make whatever size you like - wet hands to prevent peanut butter sticking), place on wax paper to chill. (Makes 24) Variations Omit chocolate, add granola, nuts, raisins, anything your child likes

This is indeed a simple recipe but I think I will leave out the pepper .It could be too spicy for my kids.

One of our childrens favorite snacks are roll ups. We make different kinds. All you need to do is take some wheat tortillas and spread a thin layer of reduce fat cream cheese. Sprinkle nuts and dried fruit over the cream cheese. Then you just roll it up. You can also use peanut butter in place of cream cheese.

That's a neat idea! As tortillas are not readily available here,I guess I can sustitute it with roti prata. Thank you :)

Tiny Pizza Ingredients: 1 standard-sized bagel, cut in half tomato sauce shredded mozzarella cheese toppings like diced green pepper, chopped onion, or chopped tomato (whatever you like) seasonings like oregano, basil, and pepper Utensils: oven (You'll need help from your adult assistant.) knife baking sheet Directions: Set the oven to low heat. Spread tomato sauce on each bagel half. Sprinkle the shredded cheese all over the tomato sauce on each half. Add your favorite toppings. Put a light sprinkling of seasonings on each half. Put your bagel halves on the baking sheet. Bake in the oven on low heat for about 5 to 8 minutes. You'll know they're done when the cheese is bubbly. Let cool for a minute, then enjoy your tiny pizzas! Serves: 1

You don't have to do anything else to these but chill? I might have to try these for my daughter they sound good and cheap.

That sounds good, I don't have any healthy kid snacks beyond fruits and veggies, but I may have to find some stuff like that and get them to help make them as a project when they are here this summer. Is there any that would be more transportable so that they can take them when with their cousins?

Maybe you can get more ideas from the babycentre website. They have tons of information there. :)
