Does Metadate CD cause constipation?

My DS has been Metadate CD 20mg for quite awhile now. He was upped to 30mg. He has been having severe constipation lately. It doesn't say this is a side effect, but have anyone else has this happen to their kid?

yeah.i will not give it for my kid. it's too high risk, constipation is not a little problem also...

why won't you give it to your kid? are u just against ADHD med's in general or just this one?
