Hi! Sometimes yes, sometimes no! But for me is it polite to say thank you to them even if they're drivers. It would be nice to thank them for they drive you safely and drop you at the exact place. How about you guys? If your'e not taking a public vehicle but if given a chance, would you say thank u?

ABSOLUTELY. I like that kind of consideration of everyone. All people should be thanked for their labor. Yes, I know they are paid for doing their jobs, but it is good for everyone to be recognized in some small way. To not say thank you would be the same to me as if I were ignoring that person. Even those who are not doing a great job, if people thank them they will have more good feelings and will try harder.

you're truly correct.. i once worked at a fastfood and even if im tired already, a simple thank you from a customer can really do wonders and lift my spirit and somehow eases my tiredness..

Most of the time, i would say thank you to taxi drivers but not to bus or jeepney drivers. Maybe because in a taxi, you're the only passenger and it's more personal, as opposed to in a bus/jeep, there are many passengers and when you get off, it would be more hassle if you stop to say thank you first before getting off the jeep or bus. However, i only say thank you if the driver is nice or doesnt overcharge.

Not to the bus and jeepney drivers but to the taxi drivers. I say thank you if the driver was nice and didnt insist on asking for additional fare ( aside from the fare on the meter). Drivers need to appreciated for safely bringing us to our destination.
