What's the name of it, and do you like to sit and relax with your favourite beverage, or go through the drive-through?
What do you usually order?
My favourite is Tim Horton's, as to me they have the 'world's best coffee,' and fabulous peanut butter cookies.
We take a trip through the drive-through every Sunday afternoon, so it's a regular ritual for us.
Please share which place you prefer and why.

It's so nice to be able to share these special outings, and to have favourite places like this. I've heard of fried ice cream, but have never tried it before. Thanks so much for your response. Have a great day.

I love to sit for hours at this small Japanese supermarket called M2M (morning to midnight). It has relatively comfortable seats all with a window view of the street, and plenty of drinks and snacks to choose from (since it is, of course, a supermarket). And the open hours are great. Otherwise I love Saint Alp's, a bubble tea cafe. It's usually busy and crowded, though. Both of these cafes are in my favorite neighborhood too, so afterwards my friends & I could go for a movie or shopping at the punk shops or cheap street venders around the area.

These two places sound really great. By the way, what's a bubble tea cafe? It seems like a very interesting area. Thanks for your response, and welcome to myLot.

Ahh, bubble tea is a tea drink that originated in Taiwan, sometime in '70s I think. It basically consists of tea (black tea or green tea) with a flavoring (usually a certain fruit or something like coffee or chocolate) and optional milk added. Standardly, it comes with chewable tapioca balls or fruity jellies in the drink. It's extremely common in Asia, and gaining popularity internationally as well. Though if you live in the US, you'll probably have to look in Asian neighborhoods to find it.
Bubble tea cafes serve bubble tea (duh) and small standard Asian/Taiwanese appetizers such as yakitori (Japanese), fishballs (Chinese), and so on.
