What can a 15minute massage do?

A study from Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami says that a 15min massage twice a week for 5 weeks, promotes less job stress ans elevated moods. what are your opinion bout this topic?

It goes without saying. Anything that helps the life force flow is going to create ease in the body and make you feel good. If only people would slow down long enough to see how little attention they give themselves. Any wonder the body breaks down. All those people who have good this new disease fibromyalgia would have done well with 15 minute massages twice a week.

Without a doubt, massage given correctly can have great positive effects on stress levels. I am a pscyhotherapist and often teach meditation and self-hypnotic techniques. A colleague of mine is an aromatherapist and tells me that clients undergoing aromatherapy massage that I have referred to her, can sometimes can burst into tears as the pent-up stress is released from the muscles - this is a positive reponse and negative emotions are released. I feel that a combination of massage and counselling is excellent for stress management and will prevent future health problems for those who use it.
