Help! I lost my Yahoo password

I dont know what happen. I never change my password in Yahoo! but everytime I log in it keep saying wrong password. Even when I tried to request for new password, they keep saying that my data is not match!! Somebody know if this ever happen and how do I get my password back? I have use Yahoo for so long and this kind of problem never happen..

Well this is so sad.. I have all my friend's data in that email.. BAnyway thanks for your advise, I'll be more careful next time..

make sure you've filled the form. they'll send the password to the alternate E-mail ID provided by you during registration. Or else enter all the data in the request a new password as entered during the registration.
I lost and got back n May this will helps you too!

Thanks Sonone. I did what you suggest but they keep saying that the data I entered is did not match.. I guess if someone stole my password, they changed my data too..

I did have this happen several years ago but it was a Yahoo account that I seldom used - it had been months since I'd logged in to it. Other than as you already did, requesting a new password I have no idea what else you could do - what a hassle to have to get a new account and change everything over to the new one.
