When most people are asked to name their top 10 musicians, they are almost alway singers or lead guitarists... sometimes keyboard or pianists.
I have my favorites from those categories too, but I also have my favorite bass players. My top 10 would be...
1: Les Claypool
2: Geddy Lee
3: Steve Harris
4: Wilbur Bascomb
5: Flea
6: Me'Shell Ndegeocello
7: Cliff Burton
8: Tommy Shannon
9: John McVie
10: Billy Cox
