Genre of music you prefer....

I prefer the oldies! They just don't make music like that anymore. It made sense, you could understand every word, they actually sang and it had a beat you could dance to.

I can't say that I really dislike any type of music-I grew up listening to 70's folk, rock and disco music, so I still have an affinity for those genres. In my daily life I listen to rock, metal, "alternative" (which is just a version of rock, if you ask me) some rap, dance, jazz and even new country. My musically training is in classical opera. My favourite style I would have to say though, is funk-I like the rhythm.
