Why would you need Buttons for your Shirt?

i think buttons can also be a style or design to the shirt. It can be huge or small, depends on the size but in some ways it adds attractions to the clothes when you wear it.

Good point.. I wear mostly T-shirts in summer and sweat-shirts in winter. They can make lighter cotton shirts without buttons, so they do seem to be a bit of a waste of time.. :-)

Hi, ajesh_pullad! It's true, I don't have to mind the buttons when taking off or putting on a shirt. I guess buttons are also a means for added decor for shirts. Sometimes, I buy a blouse or a shirt because I find the buttons very attractive, though I go more for really cute ones. Oh I remember now, there are also times when I really button up all the way to my neck, when I'm feeling cold, so I think there's one reason for all those buttons - open to keep cool, close it all up to keep warm.
