What do people think of you?

I'm often intrigued about what impression I give to people about myself. I wonder what they think of me, what type of guy do they think I am?
I'm pretty happy with myself, but I wonder whether people see me the way I imagine them to or whether they think I'm different to the way I think of myself.
Do you ever wonder what people think of you? Do you consciously act a certain way or ensure that you do certain things to give people the impression you want them to have?
Note to friends: I'd be happy if you would like to share your HONEST opinion of me, and I would gladly reciprocate.

I think I know what people think of me, firstly it varies from friends offline, friends online and strangers!
Ok, so firstly friends offline see me as happy go lucky, easy going, great sense of humour, kind, systematic and methodical and patient, and loyal
Friends online see me as a clown, very caring, very honest and open, trustworthy, great to talk to, good listener and very supportive
Strangers see me as being miserable, wary of them, suspicious, too easy going, passive and cold

Through the few conversations we've shared online, you've pretty much nailed how I see you.
You appear to care a great deal for others, between your profession and giving your spare time to help care for animals, you are obviously a very generous and giving person. I respect you a great deal.

Rhino first of all my honest Opinion of you as I see you is
That you are great Guy
You are a loving and caring Family Man also Friend
You have a great sense of Humor
Your are a brilliant Friend and a sweet one to and I am glad that you are my Friend
As for me I do know when People first meet me I come across as a Snob but that is a front with me because I am scared of meeting People so my front goes up and it seems to say I am a snob lol
I do wonder what People really think of me I have to be honest there
But I always say accept me as I am or don't bother with me lol
I can't change I am the way I am

Thanks Gabs.
You touched on exactly what I mean about first impressions. I'm not very outgoing in reality, I think I must seem rather snobbish or just unfriendly as I'm quite incapable of making small talk with strangers. (Luckily, the internet provides a better ground to meet new people!)
I think you were one of, if not my very first mylot friend. I've never shaken the feeling that you warmly welcomed me into a new community. The impression I get from recalling your posts (I'm not referring to profile pages for any of these!) is that you're younger than your years. You seem to enjoy the girlish 'cuteness' of fairies, elves and generally pink and fluffy things. You struggle with poor health, and share your experiences with us here, yet always add a spark of humour to lighten the mood and let us know you're still managing OK.
Leaving you're grown children, you seem to have lots of caring that you can no longer give them, and I think Gissi is feeling the benefit!
