I just read an article from Healthier.com about a study that was done on a group of people that were sufferers of almost constant migraines. Some of the results from the study are amazing. Although more research needs to be done, this gives hope to people such as myself that are worried about the effects that migraines can have on us. Here is the link to the article: http://www.healthier.com/Article.jsp?aid=3169&ref=225746291&zip=95948&sourceid=28065

You are very lucky. I didn't get migraines until I was in a relationship (and I use that term VERY loosely) with an extremely abusive man. I think it was all of the punches to the head and face, but I've had migraines pretty bad ever since.

It definitely was bad, but I learned from my experience. Now if my poor hubby even sneezes at me wrong, he catches holy you-know-what! LOL

A good memory at which cost though, although it wouldn't be the first time that a disadvantage actually leads to an advantage.

Very interesting article! I am a migraine sufferer also. The next time I am lying in bed crying because the pain in my head is so intense....I will think of the long term effects, lol! Thanks for this interesting bit.

That is interesting...I have to say though as a huge sufferer from migraines, I would rather not have the daily pain and sickness that goes along with my migraines. They are miserable!!

Yes, they are very miserable. I hate going through all of that pain and the agonies that go with it too. Thanks hon.

hello Katlady2. Im sorry I can't access the site you gave. I would really love to read the article though. I'm suffering from migraine-like headaches every now and then. I haven't had it evaluated yet. I hope it is migraine hehehe. I need a memory boost. But then again to be in such pain. It is better I guess to live with poor memory. Thanks and have a nice day!

Hi Hatlady2...I just read the article from your link. I found it very interesting. I have suffered from migraines with aura's for many years. I hope the article is correct, because I can use all the help I can get to boost my memory...LOL. It's nie to think that all the pain could do some good for me later in life. I was thinking they were harming what few brain cells I have...LOL
