Are they a part of your child(ren)'s school program? Where was (is) the destination, and for how long? Do You Think These Programs Are Valuable For Kids? When my daughter graduated from grade 8, her graduating class went on a 4 day trip to a special camp that was designed for this type of thing. They stayed in cabins, and spent most of the days doing outdoor activities, except for meals, and evenings spent inside. They participated in canoeing, rock climbing, climbing up to a high platform and jumping off with a rope attached, zip-lining etc. She had the best time ever, and it was a wonderful bonding experience for the whole class. Please share your child(ren)'s school trip experiences.

when my boys were at school they didn't do things like that ( my older boys) . When Ross was at school he went skiing with a disabled group twice ( he has Cerebral Palsy) he went to America and Austria but that had nothing to do with the school , that was with the out of school activities , I still watch the videos of him skiing , he is ambulant (no wheelchair) and he could ski really well xx

We didn't do things like that back when I was in school either ... the times have really changed. It's wonderful that Ross was able to travel like that, and get the chance to ski. Thanks for sharing.:)
