A friend of mine in the office loves to eat FATTY Food and i mean literally fats. Whenever she would order PORK she would request it that all the parts would be fats. While i ask the oppossite the lean part. Now i interviewed her if her family has any history of High blood and she said YES. I told her that if she continues to eat those kinds of food, when she reach 28 she most probably have high blood too. I can say that because one time after eating all those fats, she said that the back of her head hurts. I told her thats a sign. Even if i try to convince her to stop eating too many of those parts. She said she couldnt because it taste so good. I'm worried for her but i couldnt do anything anymore. Its her decision after all but still i want to help her before its too late. Im not sure how to do that. What do you think should i just drop it and let her do what she wants (sinces its her life) or should i still try to convince her to change his choice of food?

I think you should try other means to persuade her to stop eating fatty foods. If your current approach does not work, would you be willing to take drastic measures for her sake? Is she the type who does not respond pretty well to your diplomatic suggestions? Have you tried being brutally frank with her? I know that, in the end, it's her decision anyway. But if you could make her realize how potentially fatal her decision is, then she might just mend her ways, and realize that healthy eating and living is the way to go. As a mature adult, I know that she will probably insist that it's her body, it's her life, and it's her choice anyway, but if she has a family to look after, and relatives to care about, try making her see that her choices of food to eat, and, more importantly, her lifestyle would impact on her family. Make her aware of what she stands to suffer/sacrifice or lose if she continues her fat lust. If you've exhausted every conceivable means to make her change her ways, but she still does not give a damn, then you should probably just drop it, knowing that, at least, you've done everything you possibly could for her.

fatty food also causes gallstone..the more fat you eat, the more it can accumulate in the gallbladder forming stone. that the explaination my mom's doctor told us before her operation. i used to eat fatty food, but after the operation, i have to slash out from my diet..we just have to be careful about it.
