I have been keeping them apart since I found he was a boy. I can't get him fixed because he is too young still. I let them play for a while and everything was ok then all of the sudden they were fighting and he ripped poor Chloe's ear to shreds. Its horrible. I put bag balm on her wounds, Im watching for infection. Will I have to keep him to himself until he is old enough to get fixed? Is it normal for him to be aggressive now? I have to wait about 3 or 4 months still to get him fixed. My fiance' says he doesn't want him anymore but I think it will be ok once he is fixed. Advice?

The rabbits are both probably more territorial now for two reasons: first of all, neither are altered. Secondly, if they've been separated they'll have to be reintroduced and won't be as likely to instantly get along. I would actually keep the ear dry rather than use bag balm. Wash it thoroughly in something like dilute chlorhexidine or betadine (povidone iodine) daily to prevent infection.

OK well I was told to seperate them and I did and they told me Icould let them play together supervised but now I am afraid to let him near her. Thanks for the tip on the ear.

I'd keep them entirely separated until at least one is altered (spayed/neutered).
