I'm sure a lot of people have heard this question before. But I figured why not get it going on here. Which came first the chicken or the egg?

I'm so glad you asked this question bc I have the right answer. The Chicken came first. The first chickens were made by the Lord in the garden of eden. The Bible clearly says God made The birds. It doesn't say he made the birds eggs. SO the chicken came bfore the egg.

Ah, it's the turtle and the egg thing, the Lord and the bible, hmm. Intelligent design, you gotta be kidding. (Resistance is not futile!) It all happened after the big bang when the universe and biological infestestations began. By the way, does anybody know why Jesus didn't write anything? Pay attention: The Artic permafrost contains a third of the planets total soil carbon content. Man made emissions could fade in comparison if all this were released. Sea ice will be reduced 80% in the next couple of decades. Move to higher ground . .

I think the egg came first, and here's why. Millions of years ago a dinosaur laid a nest of eggs! From the eggs, hatched strange creatures...baby chicks! The chickens grew and had their own eggs, and the process kept repeating!:)

Haha I really don't have an answer to this! I guess if I HAD to pick...I would say the egg. Why you ask? Because the chicken hatches from the egg. But I really don't have an explanation as to where the egg came from lol...

I would say the chicken, because otherwise there was nothing there to lay the egg. lol

I want to say the chicken did cause of the bible reference where noah takes two of everything, and if he thought of two , one was before two but that is biblically speaking--turn it around you need a chicken to lay an egg and if evolution theory is used you would have just one instead of two--so honestly since goddess is a comedian and everything is not biblically referenced, I say that in each huge hand around the cosmos, one had a chicken and the other an egg. They were introduced to one another and from then on the egg always knew it was it that housed the baby chick but not the first b'big chicken' . . . get it ? simply depends on which perspective, ecologic, biblical, evolutionary or just "poof" it was all here--idealogy a person accepts doesn't it ? thanx for sharing and where have you been sweetie, everything ok ?

Haha, there was a drunk guys who actually tried to killed each other by discussing that issue. Well for me it's simple. The answer is Chicken. Why? It's because God will not create something that he already knows it looks like. Like a chicken, God will not create a chicken if he already knew how it looks like. He will not create an egg first then wait till the chick in the egg comes out. alright? Have a nice day ahead from Francis.

Yeah I think you might be right!! I was thinking about this last night, and I figured that the chicken must have came first with of course an egg inside of it, which would pretty much make both of them first.
