Clubs, Organizations or Activities.....

I belong to many groups ADAPT (a radical disability rights group), I belong to Code Pink (woman against the war), and Jobs with Justice (a coalition of workers/students/and community members committed to justice). Those are my main political groups. I work with them them to make the world better. I also belong to the People's Music Network and the Children's Music Network (organizations that connect musicians and socialchange makers). I also belong to the Society of children's book writers and illustrators. We meet once a month to talk about writing for kids and teens. Those mostly my work related groups. I go to Jester's restaurant every Monday (just about) for a poetry reading open mic. I go there mostly to hang out and sell books.
