What’s the most money you’ve ever held in your hands?

Last year I worked at a busy bank as a commercial or business teller. It was actually the main branch in my city for this particular financial institution so we got most of the business.
We didn’t actually carry a ton of money on the premises, and large orders were placed the night before the customer wanted them so it was pretty safe. Never, did we EVER, carry a million dollars in the bank, so movies where the robbers get away with a million dollars are GREATLY exaggerated. :)
The most money I ever held in my hands though was 5000 twenties, 50 bundles of 100, equaling $100,000. Thank God we had an armed security guard, because I caught so many people in line eyeing me up, I don’t think I’ve ever felt that vulnerable and noticed in my life.
What about everyone else? Ever have a Scrooge McDuck moment?

a few years ago in my first job, i think i had about $20,000 in cash withdrawn from a bank. we stuffed it in a brown envelope to look discreet. walking a few blocks from the bank to our office was an ordeal. :)
for a check, i was able to carry with me a $2M check. i know it wasn't as risky as cash but my eyes ogled for a moment wondering what that check recipient ever did to be given a $2M check as an incentive to a project.

Haha I've never really had a really huge amount of money in my hands. But at work when I see the cash register open it's like...ahhh money! Lol. Wow if I was holding $100,000 that would be crazy! I can see why it would make you very nervous though! I would never steal money, but holding that much money would be very difficult for me to do! Lol. I would want it all!
