Nose & Ear Piercings? Which Side????

Left or right side? Is it usually done nose left side and upper ear right or vice versa? Does anybody have this done? Which is the way typically done or is there one certain way or is just based on your preference?
I would like to have mine pierced by tomorrow and need some opinions on this please......:)

I don't have piercings, even one.
I have a concervative family and i've been influenced by my family and relatives.
But before, i was thinking to have even one but i did not continue to get one.
And now, it doesn't bother me to have it or not.
But i still don't have any piercing, but i am not also against with it or with people who's having it specially guys.

I had my nose peirced on the left and my upper ear on the right... looked good. But i really dont think it matters...
