Well who do you think is going to be the next to go? I think it'll be Lakisha. She didn't take ANY of Barry Gibb's advice tonight. I mean dang, the man's a legend and she was singing HIS songs. You'd think if she wanted to win or at least get through this week, she'd take the advice of the man that wrote the songs. Jordin did excellent, I think she's going to be the next American Idol. She sang the Bee Gees songs the way they were meant to be covered. What's ya'lls opinions?

Hey Cheryl!!! I watched, I loved Jordin tonight--she did an exceptional job with the songs. I think either Lakisha or Blake should be next. That whole beat box thing didn't belong in any of those songs tonight. Blake destroyed both songs with that crap. i really liked the girl who sang "Love you inside out" (sorry--I can't remember her name....lol!) I thought she did very well on that song. Can't wait until tomorrow night to hear Barry sing!!!!! :D TTYL Cheryl!!

I think Jordin is a cute as she can be and has really stepped it up in the performing area. Like you, I think she might be the next American Idol and she deserves it. I am so tired of watching Lakisha ........ I posted this discussion today and a not getting any replies so I'm just going to paste it here. I have posted a similar discussion before and now I feel even more so.... it is time for Lakisha to go home. I hope to get my wish tonight. She has performed well on many shows, and I do believe she has a great big ole voice that could take her many places in her life. But I hope, I hope, I hope she is not our next American Idol. She has not taken the advice of one single industry expert through out this season, not one! Last night, she ignored it again. Who does she think she is? She is being offered a lot as a contestant on this program and it is like she throws it back in their face. She admits to never having any formal training. You would think she would humble herself a bit and realize that now she is getting it from some of the best. She admits to deliberately keeping herself distanced from the other contestants (and for good reason, in her mind I am sure) but maybe it is time that she go home to her daughter and have some time to think about it all before the tour begins and she has to leave her daughter again. I hope we hear Melinda, you are safe, Jordin you are safe, Blake you are safe. Let's take a look at Lakisha's road with American Idol.

I think Blake will be going home because he keeps doing that terrible beat boxing stuff. It was okay to do it once last week but he should not be doing it with every song. I think it is disrespectful to the artists by continously doing that. He deserves to be voted off. Lakisha is the other one who is in jeopardy tonight like you mentioned. I think Melinda and Jordin are safe as they have been great through almost the entire contest.

I think Lakisha will be the one to go, too. A lot of people have complained about Blake but I liked the first song he did. I don't have a problem with the beatboxing, and I think he is the only one who is contemporary. Jordan did the best. I think Melinda and Lakisha are too old for this contest (particularly in their singing, even though Melinda is an excellent singer). Based on the past couple of weeks, Jordan should win this thing.
