elections is fast approaching. one more week to go before and the television is packed with commercials even outside of our house a lot of flyers are posted. Last sunday i watched the second part of isang tanong isang sagot in GMA 7. IT was for a good cause and it will also promote awareness with regards to the senatorial candidates. i just wished they aired it again because it was screened late and although i was sleepy i watched it. By the way they answered the questions, you can tell who has something to say for our country. For those who have watched it, what can you say about it?

most of the candidates answered generically, that is - displaying interview savvy, kumbaga -something that we didn't already hear from any politician. plain, mediocre. i wish there's someone who stood out - sadly there's none, putting dismays to my teen-age kids, who said in disgust - 'we stayed up late for that!!" and others just plainly goofed confirming the obvious ineptness like victor wood??? we forgot about it all in the morning.

I have heard from it to my aunt and they have said that it was really done in good taste. I think it is really helpful in choosing the candidates for elections. People were able to know the platform of government by each candidates. They were heard and people listen and made its choice. I have seen some of that episode in the youtube and in gma7 website www.igma.tv.

It is sad to know that candidates seems not interested in showing their platforms anymore, maybe because they do not really have an agenda right now. What I foresee right now is that the opposition are just planning to stop or prevent the Arroyo Admin from doing anything anymore since all of the government actions are being questioned and the administration candidates are just there to protect the interest of the administration's plan. After watching only a small portion of the show I felt sleepy already since I really cannot see any point watching anymore since I don't find anything of substance or anything that could impress me watching further.

i watched the first part (the previous week) in its entirety and i was looking forward to the second part however sleep overcame me. i guess i was too tired to wait up for the late airing of the show. i only got until the time of legarda ( the first set). i hope they would air it again in one big/long show in primetime before the elections. it really is worth seeing coz you'd know who's in it armed with knowledge and experience, a good cause or just plainly against the government.
