Who prepares breakfast in your family?

My husband cooks us breakfast on the weekends and on the weekday we eat something easy mainly cereal or fruit and yogurt.

Your mother is a very lucky woman not having to prepare your breakfast. You said in a previous discussion all you had for breakfast was a loaf and a bottle of milk. That is so simple and good of you not to need a breafast that she need to cook.

Even in our family it is our mother who prepares the breakfast. In our country too we have the custom where mother's only prepare the breakfast. Not only breakfast but all type of eatables are being prepared by the ladies. Few specific dishes in which men will be expert is prepared rarely ;P

it's my mom who prepares breakfast for us. but now that im married, it's me who prepares it now.

Since I am a working mother, we have a household help who cooks our meals, including breakfast. There are times that she goes home to their place (which is very rare), and I do the cooking for breakfast. Otherwise, our ever reliable household help has been so efficient as to prepare our meals for us. All we do is just eat, then go back to work.

When we were young my mother prepares our every meal with the help of course by a househelp but since I was 10 we did not have any house help. Being the eldest child, I learn to do all the house chores in early age and been cooking, cleaning the house, doing the laundry and helping to look upon my siblings since i was 10. My mom do not do those housework anymore.

In my family each person prepares his/her own breakfast, for example, I will usually eat bran flakes cereal, banana, decaf coffee, and some light cranberry juice. My dad usually doesn't eat breakfast, and my mom usually will eat a banana and a soft drink. Well that's about it. What do you eat for breakfast? Pablo

The only people in this house is me and my father and neither of us really eat breakfast, which i know is very bad, so i guess i would say we all prepare our own. Other meals, such as tea etc.., i would say i prepare the majority of the time since i enjoy cooking.

my mother...always prepares breakfast.

when I was a child, it is my mother prepares the breakfast always and my father never do that. but now,when I grew up and leave them, my father start to make breakfast for my family . that is because my mothers' body is not good now, she need to sleep more and take a good rest . I think it is better now and I think my father love my mother very much.

hehe, maybe something special in my family. my father alsways do breakfast for me. because my father would like to wake up so earlier and go to market on his bicycle,and then return to home to do breakfast for me.maybe you think that it is not like a traditional family in china. do you know why? it is because my father has not a good condition and is easy to be ill usually. the doctor suggest that my father should do more exercise and absorb more new fresh air in the morning.therefore,my father is willing to get up early and go to buy something our family need. i love my father very much. i am so proud of my father.

If our baby gets up as early as my husband, I fix them both breakfast. If the baby sleeps later, my husband has to fix his own breakfast, because I don't get up with him. I always fix my 15 month old's breakfast, except sometimes on weekends, my husband gets up first and fixes breakfast for all three of us.

At my place its always me who prepares the breakfast in the morning.( i know breakfast is taken in the morning only, :), dont mind ) when i was not married and was living with my parents , it was sometimes me, sometimes my mom. my mom is a teacher so she leaves house early and i look after the breakfast and all stuff. but on days like sunday, or on her holidays, i preferred to eat something special made specially by her only.

Oh sad to say because everyone is just so busy right now, it's always the house helper who prepares breakfast. And because im not a morning person, I would often end up missing it. lol
