some years ago the first man had set foot on mars, what is your opinion about technology?

To this date, no man has set foot on mars. the moon is as far as we have gotten. In August of this year the US is sending an unmanned mission to Mars (scheduled to land in May, 2008), which will search for signs of life (current or previous) on that planet. i think it is a noble and grand search and awesome technology.
