I like
ACTION:- 1Spidey Series
2Independence Day(Yes the OLD One)
3Terminator Series
Comedy:- 1Must Meet Parents
2Hot Shot series
3 School of Rock
Drama :- 1Fight Club.
2Pursuit of Happyness.
I also Love Pirates of the Carribean

I am also like you. I like these and some others as well.
I liked Independence Day a lot. Watched it 2-3 times already. Watched Terminator 2 times. I like all Action films, especially thrillers.
I also liked great classics like Casa Blanca, Ben Hur, Ten Commandments, Mahatma Ghandi, Mother India, Mugle-Azam etc.
I am also a great fan of romantic films. It is refreshing, especially when accompanied by great music. Preferred time is night time, when it is quite around.

Some of my favourite movies are - MATRIX, SPEED, PLATOON, GLADIATOR, TERMINATOR, RAMBO, THE SPECIALIST.
In Hindi all time favourite - SHOLAY. Other movies are Dosti, Mother India, Sree 420, Masoom, Chupke Chupke, Lago Raho Munna Bhai, Taare Zameen Par to add to the list.

I usually prefer romantic and comedy movies and three movies that are really unforgettable are:
Coyote girls (Romantic, sentimental movie)
secondly i would say:
American pie movies (teen and comedy; i just adore them)
and thirdly is
apocalypto (action film; i dont know why i like this film even though i dont watch these types of movies but this one is so, i would say, original!!!)

Not seen the other two movies . except "American Pie"
I wont watch Acolypto tjough , heard its...."inhumane" and "Horrifying" ...whatever

though there were many excellent movies last year but i think these three were the most i like in english
-GRIND HOUSE (pretty good)
-OCEAN'S 13 (not bad)
-300 (O.K.)
in Hindi that is indian language it would be
