Is he a burden for chelsea now? He is no where near his form.. He used to score against the mighty Italian defenses but now, he is unable to continue it here .... Review his first year here in chelsea.... and let us hope that he make good effort with his all time best pair Crespo...........

i think he is having a tough time in chelsea......might be because of the reason that italian football is slightly different as compared to english football...... actually italian players master in short passes and provide excellent passes for the strikers to finish but here in EPL pace and all matters... he still has his earlier spark .......i hope he find his form early before he is start being called a flop

Well, after seeing his recent performances I think he is back..His goal against Villa was awesome...Also he looks more confident on field now than he was in last season..

The Days of Sheva netting 30 goals in a season are over but he will shine sooner or later if he puts his head down and goes to work like Didier did. As far as Crespo, he is just pure world class and a pure goal scorer. I rate Crespo above any stiker in the world and if he had pace he would be netting 30+ goals a season. Sheva at 30 million pounds was a huge mistake. We could have bagged ETO for that price or Defoe for half the price. Hell, we could have gotten a proven goal scorer in Andy Johnson or Darren Bent. Bad move in my mind.

hello tomysole , true what you said crespo and drogba are the best pair strikers that chelsea has ever seen i guess , both are extremely talented and goal scorers , scheva is definetely not upto their standards , as long as drogba stays at chelsea he will definetly make chelsea reach finals of any cup :)

You should be patient for Sheva.I am sure next season he fires and triggers your team.He is very capable player. He may have problems in his life in London. He needs time to do his best.He is certainly one of the best strikers in the world.Chelsea is just unlucky against Liverpool.

i also think sheva needs time i mean look how long it took for drogba to settle.

IF not Shevchenko's goal and assist and attracting defenders attention to leave Drogba alone, Will Chelsea be in the Semis? It was a mistake not to let him play at Liverpool's second leg!

It has not been easy for Shevy, Every one thought that he will steal the entire show in the premiership immediately the season started but things were not going is way. however, i think shevy still needs some time in chelsea to pick up is form and then we can start to make comparison with other good players.
