I love them both. I want grits when I'm having a full country breakfast with eggs, a breakfast meat, biscuits... the whole nine yards. But I eat more oatmeal than I do grits. I eat it regularly for breakfast. My favorite way to eat oatmeal with with a poached egg mixed in it.

Grits, grits, grits. Funny thing about it is I grew up in New Jersey and never heard of them until I moved to Florida. Now, if they're made right when we go out, you can't beat them. If we're at home it's just perfect for any time of day. ‹(°¿°)›

Neither. They are both to mushy. I really dislike soggy foods and have no idea how certain people do it. But whatever floats your boat have fun with it.

I like both also but you can do more with grits. 1. sugar and butter 2. egg, bacon, salt and pepper 3. cheese grits 4. corn grits 5. liver and grits lol I sound like bubba on forest gump. I can't think of anymore right now but I'm sure as soon as I close it I will.

I never had grits, but I do like oatmeal. I make plain oatmeal and I put honey or sugar-free syrup on it, or sometimes fruit.

I prefer oatmeal, although we Brits call it Porridge.
