are we really concerned about the elders

In this age of the Nuclear families where only the Husband, Wife & children, there is one Part of our generation we are really forgetting that is " OUR ELDERS". By Elders i mean our grandparents. I do remember when i was a kid and whenever i was punished by my parents the one who consoled and was on my side always were my grandparents. It was not that they wanted me to do wrong but learn from my mistakes and always made me understand in the manner a kid should. Today the children are just meeting their grandparents in some or other family get togthers, spending very less time with them and really not realizing, what they are missing in this world. The wiseness, the teachings from them and absolute love from the grandparents. Secondly the parents should realize one day they are going to be grandparents too and going to be treated the same way as their kids are now. I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT WE JUST NEED TO GIVE IMPORTANCE TO OLDER GENERATION TOO AND NOT KEEP THEM IN THE OLD AGE HOMES OR SOME CONDOMINIUMS .
