People from UK and who use Adsense, I have a question

I've set up my account. It tells me to choose a form of payment, which did you pick? Cheque or bank transfer? Can we use bank transfer since we are abroad? I have a Natwest account, if thats helpful. if you shoose the standard cheque did you have any trouble banking it? Thanks
