what are some good ab exercises?

I am looking for some good lower ab exercises. I have a bit of a beer gut I would like to get rid of by summer. I sit in a chair all day at work so is there any exercises I can do at my desk. I only need ab exercises if you don't mind. Thanks.

they say you can always hold our gutt in for a couple seconds, like tightn your stomache muscles really really tight while sitting, then let go, do this a couple times a day and I believe it strengthens your stomache muscles......while sitting, you have to breathe while doing so....after a while, your stomache will just stay that way for a while.....then you can do the rest of the ab exercises when you get out of work........ Well you can get rid of the chair and replace it with a pilates ball. That helps with balance and strengthening your core. But I'm not sure your boss would like it! Other than that, I don't really know of anything.
