Since Mother's Day is coming up I thought I would ask this question. My mom is a great entertainer. She loves to have parties and loves to have people come to visit. She is a people person and knows just what to say to make people feel welcome and open up. Throught the years I was always a shy person but she taught me to be more assertive and friendly and i'm so thankful for it. I truly think I would be still single If she had not taught me to blossom!

Her giving nature and unselfish attitude. My mother has consistantly put the needs of others before herself. This is a virtue in a way. However, I sometimes wish she would be a little more selfish because I feel that varoius family members have taken advantage of this over the years.

you are so lucky to have a mom like that, don't stop showing her how much you appreciate it, she's hard to come by.

Hey Whisp, it sounds like you and I have the same mother! LOL My mom always helps others and puts their needs before her own. Like you, I wish my mom would be a little more careful in who she helps, but what is a daughter to do, when she has a stubborn mother? :P

My mom's greatest attribute has got to be what Whisp already said. I don't know a more generous person than my mother. She is the best!

My mom always looks for the positive points in a person. Even if she is deadset against some things they do, she tries to find something good about them anyway. Sometimes that's good, sometimes it's not. It led to a really rough childhood, especially for my little sister and me. She never realized how often our dad was hitting us, or why we were so afraid of him. Sge was just so focused on the positive things about my father.
