For the past couple of days I've been noticing a particular avatar. To be more precise, the cat from Shrek 2. I thought what I saw was my imagination, so I blew it off...until today! Looks like my suspicions were right LOL and there are at least two people with the same avatars. Okay, so they are not completely identical as both cats are facing opposite directions (yeah, I know the picture can be flipped), and one picture is cropped, but otherwise they look alike! Darn confused the heck out of me! I figured most people want their avatar to be original. Have you ever thought people that have the same avatar were the same person? Or did you know better?

I haven't seen matching avatars yet here, but since there is 90K people, I imagine something popular like a shrek character might be used twice (or more). Personally i'd want mine to be original, so if I saw someone with the same avatar as mine, i'd change mine. But I see you changed yours-LOL I didnt recognize you!!

LOL! Yep, I changed it several days ago when I edited my profile page (If you haven't already seen it, check it out! :)). I didn't mean to confuse you or anyone else on here. LOL I don't care to start a discussion about changing my avatar. It seems kind of pointless to do so as I change it every now and then. I just hope my friends can recognize me by my username instead. I did see you changed yours as well, but luckily I recognized your username LOL, so I didn't get confused. ;)

Personally, I am sure there are a lot of people on here using the same Avatar. And that is probably why I have chosen to keep my picture of me on here as my Avatar. If anyone else ever uses this avatar, I would know they just copied it, and it would not be them. But you could be one like many other on here not wanting to show others who you really are. That is OK I guess too. I used to display different pictures from time to time with my name as my Avatar, but found I get the most responsed usually when I keep it like it is now. So personally it is your choice, and unless you are using your Own photo of just you, everyone is entitled to whatever Avatar they want to use on here even if it is the same as everyone else.

It doesn't always seem like it's always the case when someone doesn't use an avatar of themselves, though then again I've seen a few discussions where the mylotter does use a picture of themselves and it Did seem to be reason for all the responses! :P That shouldn't be the case, and maybe it IS coincidence, but who really knows?

I have a friend here who changed her own avatar after she saw someone using the same avatar as hers. I did see some identical avatars here. I know mine is definitely unique. It is my own bunny pet. Although, I saw in the past month that it was widely spread all over the internet images. I even saw in one site a using my avatar. This poster claimed that it was their pet bunny. I just shrugged it off. After all, my bunny is too adorable and some people simply can't refuse to use it, LOL!

I can see why your avatar has been used...your bunny is just too darn cute! :) But then again you already know that! LOL Still, the person that used your avatar should have asked your permission first...

I wouldnt be surprised to find out that they are the same person. but what i dont undestand is why would they do that? do they think theybwill be getting paid twice as much? it takes the same amount of time for one person to respond 100 times to 2 people responding to 50. they get paid the sam amount! the only diffrence s that they wil have to come up with double the amount of the payout to get any money lol. i really dont see the point in it at all.

Yes, there are some people using the same avatars. I read a discussion from a guy that said that there was a person with the same Avatar as him, so he changes his own. That's why I use my photo. There won't be two avatars like mine here!

The avatars I use have always come from pictures that I took personally. I don't use avatars off the web on here because I don't want to get confused with someone else. And if I saw someone else on here using my avatar I would know that they had stolen it! :P

Those avatars confuse me too. Sometimes I don't pay attention to the name and just look at the pic. I guess I will have to watch more closely now that people are having the same avatars.

I had an avatar that i really liked, a user took it and that had me change mine. My friends emailed me and asked me about certain discussions (they though I was him) I do want my own avatar and I am making an attempt with this new one =)
