my boyfriend loves me very much.i often sink into nameless depression, and when he talks to me i just keep silent ,which worries him deeply.i don't know how the depreession comes.constantly,i feel low when something bad happened,or i have to face something that i think i get my hand of.at the same time,i'm worried about my boyfriend will leave me because of my depression.

Well, one be careful of your beliefs--because you may very well make what you fear come to happen... Are you seeking treatment and possibly medication for your depression? I'm not a big fan of medication, but as a student of psychology I know there are options. REBT (rational emotive behaviour therapy) can be of great use. So can, good old fashioned positive thinking, and even prayer or meditation. When you feel down, get some exercise, and purposely look toward the beautiful things in life. You are where you are as a result of repeated thoughts and feelings. Break they cycle, so to speak. Do some acts of kindness for others, watch some comedies, but most importantly monitor your thoughts. All-or-nothing thinking is the worst kind. Believe in yourself. Love yourself. And if you are depressed get some help. I'm rooting for ya, and if you ever need someone to talk to, make a friend request, and send me a letter. I'll listen. If you'll let him, your boyfriend probably will to, and so will some others that you've perhaps overlooked. No one has to be overcome by depression. No one has to face it alone.
