State tax on gas dropped?

My husband told me that he had heard earlier today that Gov.Perry of Texas was asking for the gas taxes to be done away with for 90 days. Anyone else heard of this? I sure am hoping it is true.

No, I haven't hear it but I too wish it were true. We all need a break in taxes for a while.

I am in Texas so I hope it is true!! I haven't heard anything about it though, I don't watch the news very often so I am out of the loop =)

I don't pay a whole lot of attention to the news either, I usually rely on my hubby to tell me whats going on in the world. I am busy playing with the computer.
