Among all the senatorial aspirants, who will you vote for and why? What makes him/her/them truly deserving to be a senator of the republic? What citeria do you have in choosing among the candidates?

I will not vote this coming election but if i will vote it will be Trillanes.Because he is the only one among the senatoriables who is not corrupt ,can't be bought, and he choose to be jailed to expose the truth. So he is not a liar, that should be foremost criteria in choosing your candidate. How will you expect a candidate that has all the qualification to be a good candidate but lacks the honesty and integrity to create the laws of this land.If he lacks honesty and integrity he will sell our land to the highest bidder. That is happening now, anti terrorism,e-vat,globalization,privatization,deregulation and many more.

rdurusan, I truly appreciate your comment; it's very incisive.
However, no offense intended, without adequate evidence, I feel that I could not entirely agree with your assertion that Trillanes "is the ONLY ONE among the senatoriables who is not corrupt" and can't be bought. I believe that it's too sweeping a statement.
However, I must be quick to add that I am not, in any way, implying that Trillanes is corrupt or he can be bought. It may very well be true that what you deem him to be is, in fact, correct. What I'm only saying is that it would seem, at least from where I stand, presumptuous to single out Trillanes as the only incorruptible candidate, without even presenting incontrovertible evidence to support such claim. It may perhaps be the case that some, if not all, as you claim, of the other Senatoriables are indeed corrupt, but some may just like be Trillanes. But I can't say for certain either way, since I do not have sufficient evidence to make such claim.
Just to expand my knowledge on local politics, and to further enrich the discussion, rdurusan, could you please expound on your claim that a candidate who lacks honesty and integrity will sell our land to the highest bidder? Also, could you kindly explain its connection with anti-terrorism, e-vat, globalization, privatization, and deregulation? Thanks in advance!

Your response is very informative, rdurusan. Thanks for enlightening me. However, I still feel that you were not able to fully support your assertion that among all the senatoriables, Trillanes is the only one who is not corrupt or cannot be bought. I understand your intense feeling about the issue, especially since it could perhaps be conceded that our country seems to be in deep sh*t right now. This is precisely the reason why I'm asking for reasonable and reliable support for your claim so that if, in fact, your claim that Trillanes is the only incorruptible senatorial candidate is true, I would not bother to vote anymore, since I would only help corrupt (if they are indeed corrupt, as you claim) people to immerse our country in deeper sh*t.
