Do elections in the Philippines still give you hope?

There often advertisements that reminds us, filipinos, to vote wisely especially during this coming election. Everytime election in the Philippines is nearing, i could see those very familiar ads. I feel like no matter how frequent that reminder comes out, even if that ad showed on television or heard on readio over and over and over again.. it seems that a lot of us, don't really get its meaning. There were still winning candidates who cannot live up to the expectations of them as public servants or even just living up to their own promises they once said during campaign periods. I think if we really shoud vote wisely nowadays, only few candidates would be deserving to win in the elections, deserving to be called public officials, deserving to take their seats on any position in the government.. I hate to admit this but i have only a little bit of hope left in elections in the Philippines. How about you? Do elections in the Philippines still give you hope? Share your views.
