No, I do not think that we should care about the past. THe memories make our past untrue. I do not like to look back. I do not like to think about the old feelings. That is why I do not like look old photos neither. Do not look back, because your past is far away. YOu have alredy closed that door, because you entered to another room. There are another doors in front of you, but you can not turn back.
And yes, there are songs that remind me my old lovers, but I always know that those songs sound from the room I exited from. It is easy to say now, because now I am glad with my boyfriend. But when you feel lonely you can make mistakes easily ( I did too) , and you feel an urge to relive your past. But it is impossible. Our past is alredy behind the door we closed. But believe me, there are many doors which are waiting for you to open. Those are your future.
Anyway all the lovesongs written to the lovers, so it is not so special that we feel that these are about us.

Dear My Friend,
That is so sad. The memories, and the feelings from the past are good if they are useful, and make you happy. I hope you do not live in the cloud of memories. It would be abnormal. (if it may be true: then please just IMAGINE "that door", and close it.)
When we are in love (firstly, and secondly) we think that we found the real love. But when we loose it we learn to accept the disappointment. We have to realize the experience in each ended relationship. You will be richer after each breaking off. I am sure that she is a special one, and you got very rich from that relationship. You can use that experience, that knowledge in the future. God helps you in this way to achieve your task, your gladness in your life in this world.

dont feel bad, or sad because i am not, it is my choose to keep her in my memories, our time together was happy and speical, we never fight or aguree, we always like each other from the beging, she is speical to me, all my ex i closed the door alreday, but this person i always keep her in my heart. who knows maybe we will get back together down the road again, i am not upset about it if we dont, and if we do it would be great. but i will always keep her close to me.

but it is not always true, i dont have any of these feeling with anyother person just one, the one that i wish we could of not end, it wasnt by choice, things happend, and i still care for her very much 4 years since we were last together, my feeling for her never changed, 4 or 40 years from now, i dont think i would feel any different, people told me i should let go, but this is the one i cant. evey now and than i would think of her because the songs we share or things we did. i know the furture is ahead waiting for me, but this is one person will always be with me till i die. :/

i always listen to my disc man and every time i hear the song "only reminds me of you" i remember my past lover and sometimes it makes me cry,, i hope you also listen that song it's really good.. that song is sung by MYMP, a famous singing band here in Philippines..

Hmmm You are feeling nostalogic lately:). I think you should not worry about past. Look foward and hear some good music to feel in better mood.
Personally I don't listen radio. But I do hear a lot music in cd and also online. Some romantic songs can really touch my heart. But I don't have anything to remind my past. Because whom I loved he is mu hubby now:). So, everything I remember with song and past we both talk about that song and those moments which is like a celebration for us. We both do have some very special romantic songs. Yes Adi, you are right. After hearing some song you feel like the words just written for you.

That seldom happened to me .only a few times when i heard some songs ,whic reminded me of my past friend not lovers. just the relationship of us was between friends and lover. Actually i don't like to go past. even if it just is the memory.

i listen to the radio everynow and then especially durin my free time. and you are right... it reminds me of the past specially pastlover and sad memories of the past as well.
