who's your favorite boyband?

when i was younger, i remember dancing to the song "Get Down (You're the one for me)" by the Backstreet Boys.. Whenever i heard it on the radio, i would scream and express my happiness to everyone who would listen it with me. i remember then that the most famous backstreet boy for me and my classmates was Nick Carter. Not that i had a crush on him, but most of the girls that i know liked him a lot. "OOH, He's so adorable" or "Cute" or a *SHRIEK* hahaha. So there, that's one of my favorite boybands. Alongside Westlife and Blue. And i'm not ashamed of it. How about you? And who's the person that you dig in that boyband?

Since I'm a child of the 80's, I'd have to say that "New Kids on the Block" was my favorite boy band. I absolutely LOVED them, as I'm sure every other girl my age did. My favorite member was Joey. He was so cute!!

i do hear good things about this boyband. but i'm not that aware of their songs... but according to wikipedia, they paved the way for acts like Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC. pretty sweet. without them, there would be no boybands that we enjoyed during the 90's and early 2000. i researched also about Joey/Joe Mcintyre. OOH, he looks fine. lol! Another boyband member gone solo, they say on the net that he's a singer/ actor now.

Yes, I believe the 'New Kids on the Block' were considered the first real boy band in pop. Joe McIntyre had some success as a solo artist. I haven't heard of any songs that he's done recently though.

I can't think of any current day boybands that I particularly like but as I grew up in the 80s I can tell you some bands from those days that may or may not be considered boy bands but I certainly liked them! There was Wham (except that was 2 guys and 2 girls) and then they split and George Michael did his own thing! There was Spandau Ballet and ABC who I really liked back then. I guess my fave all time "boyband" has got to be The Beatles. I think they were THE best boy band of all time, if you watch footage of them arriving at airports and doing concerts and see how crazy the girls used to go over these guys it's kinda scary LOL! I have to admit I have enjoyed some tunes by Blue and Westlife and Take That over the years :)

i know wham!!! those were the guys who made famous the song "wake me up before you go-go". hehehe, very catchy and now it's stuck in my head. anyway, thanks for you response. enjoy myLoting. =D

I guess I'm too old to know who boyband is.But as far as having a favorite male band I would have to vote for "The Beach Boys".....I am in Hawaii and they are still really popular here.:)

oh i know them! i think their song was in the movie, 50 first dates (correct me if i'm wrong). i think the beach boys are cool. thanks for responding! happy myloting!

i'll admit it to anyone who are if i like the backstreet boys. i love them and i'm damn proud of it. i hear that they going to be on tour in 2009 and i'm dying to go tp their concert.
