Social Security Benefit Eligilibity : J-1 Visa

I would like to find out if I am eligible for SSS . I was on J-1 ( Exchange Visitor
Visa J-1} in the 70's. I worked for 4 years as a Lab Technician. I am now a Canadian citizen and age 62 .
