Straights! Would you dare to perm your hair?

I would! I think straight hair is Out this year and curly hair is In. Hehehe.. I have a very straight hair and sometimes i wonder what would i look like with my hair curled. :) When i was a kid, about 8 or 9 years old, my mother permed my hair. I slept with a curly hair overnight, I was so happy! But when i woke up the following morning, i took a bath and my hair went back straight. :( How about you straight-haired gals out there? Have you had this "hairy experience"? hehehe.. Would you dare to to perm your hair? On a permanent basis or not? What's your choice?

Wow! Well, yeah i guess it's better to leave your hair the natural way than to suffer from perming chemicals..

yes i have gone to have my hair permed about a month ago but my hairdresser wouldn't perm it as i have such thick hair it wouldn't have looked right or something like that but i suppose it was a blessing in disguise really

I think it really depends on the type of hair, no? We have something in common, we want to try perming our hair but our hair wouldn't want a perm. :)

when i was younger i used to get my hair permed. but it was basically a waste of money since my hair is so fine the perm would only hold its curl for a bit over a month.
it was easier on my hair and scalp to just use curlers or a curling iron.
i like my hair straight now though, i dont think the whole perm fad is going to come flying back into fashion very soon. at least not here in the states.

I see.. well, i guess i better stay straight, anyway, my hair can't tolerate perming or curling because it's very straight.. at least when i go to the states, i am in fashion. lolz. thanks for posting!
