Its about two (2) weeks now since i last engaged in active discussion on mylot. I suddenly lost interest. I can't explain it. Do you know why or have you experienced it?

I actually just posted a discussion yesterday similar to this. I find that my interest goes up and down on a dail basis. I've never stayed away as long as 2 weeks but usually always take the weekends off. Helps to get away from here every now and again.

l felt the same when l started newly. Maybe my expectation of the 'pay' was higher than reality, the 'pay' was coming in cents, lol, l was really disappointed, but now, l dont care much about the money, lf l get it good, if l dont good too, however, my earning has really improved. l have over $5 now and should make about $6 in all, with my yesterday and today's earning. This is just a motivation. And l cant relax until l got to the minimum payout, and have some dollars floating on my online account, whether or not l cash it, is another story. Relax and enjoy yourself.

My interest in MyLot definately waxes and wanes depending on what's going on in my life of even what's going on in myLot. When I first joined this site, I was an addict. I was on the site all the time and had a really great time surfing through hundreds of conversations and leaving my opinions on pretty much everything. I think it was the newness to the whole thing. Then suddenly everything started to slow down. I couldn't find discussions that interested me anymore, and I started to realize that so many people just keep posting the same discussions over and over again. I got bored, and annoyed, but I still tried my best to find something to respond to. Still, no matter how hard I tried, I was definately using MyLot less and less. Then when my work started getting really busy I went for days at a time without even looking at this site. It turns out that the break was a really good thing for me. Taking some time away gave me the break I needed and also a chance for MyLot to make some upgrades (like the blogs) and let a whole bunch of new discussions get started. I'd like to think that I've hit my second wind. I'm posting pretty regularly again. Though I won't be surprised if I go through another cycle like this again. Sometimes the brain just needs a break.

i feel like i'm always addicted to coming back to mylot. I mean after doing many things, I'll end up in this site and I also enjoy a lot doing many things.

Yes, burnout. I mean you have almost 500 posts in two weeks which takes up an good amount of time. Doing something else couldn't hurt. It may help. I only post for an hour a day, that keeps me interested. ;)

I would imagine that you don't feel like you are getting any satisfaction, or not enough from doing it. If you don't enjoy doing something, you wont do it. That is what I imagined happened to you.
