I think when scientists have found the universal learning algorithm, then robots will be able to learn all things from experience advance their skills and competence.... So when that time comes, robots will outperform humans, robots can program themselves and other machines, humans become useless and jobless and I think that will be the end of human age... Robots will substitute our species, it's our choice to let this happens or not :)

Never. Human beings are a lot more flexible and rational, so in my opinion, robots can never in their wildest dreams beat the human mind or any other aspect of human beings.

It's possible that they could. After all, the world's best chess-masters have been beaten by a computer, and computers (and therefore robotics as well) continue to improve exponentially.
