These big cats are in danger. Despite international and domestic bans, a thriving black market for tiger skins and bones threatens to wipe out wild tigers, once widespread across Asia. There are now fewer than 7000 wild tigers in just 7% of their natural habitat. The World Wildlife Fund has a web project where they are putting together a tiger mosaic made up of people's photos. To upload your pretty face, go to: http://www.worldwildlife.org/tigermosaic/viewer.cfm I have.

Yes, it is so sad. I love tigers. They are my most favorite animal and they are so gorgeous and magnificent. My face is on there too. If they became extinct I would most definitely cry. I wrote an article about it actually. If you want to read it here it is: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1961994/endangered_species_tigers.html
