Warm water will help to open up your pores, and cold water will close up your pores. So it is better to wash your face with warm water first, to get the dirt out of your pores, and then splash some cold water on your clean face to tighten up your pores.

yea i agree with the person above, but if you plan on putting some kind of beauty lotion or something on your face then don't splash your face with cold water, because this way you let the lotion take more effect on your face then if your pores are closed http://latestrevolution.blogspot.com http://musicfusion2day.blogspot.com

Both cold and lukewarm water are good for our face, but it depends on the type of washing. Lukewarm water has tendency to open pores, whereas cold water closes up pores. So these can not be used when you prefer to normal or daily washing. Normal water is preferable for this purpose. However, I would like to discuss the following methods for a everyday normal face washing with different water. 1. splash lukewarm water all over the face and neck. 2. Cleanse face with a cleanser that suites to your skin type. 3. Wash face with cold water to close up pores. If you are in use of any face mask, wash with lukewarm water followed by ice cold water.

Warm water opens up the pores and cleanses your facial skin well. I dissolve Himalayan Crystal Salt in water and add it to my warm water when I wash my face... this is very rejuvenating and a good cleanser for your skin. It removes make-up and all that very easily and well. Give it a try and see how it works for you... each person is different and you have to choose what is more enjoyable and comfortable for yourself. Good luck in making your choice!
