Have you ever visited Biltmore in Ashville, North Carolina? It is a magnificent place. It was constructed by a Vanderbilt and is still in that family. It is open to the public. I think it is the largest mansion, or private home in the United States. It does rival the best of castles in Europe. And it has quite a garden too. I'm curious if you've heard of Biltmore, if you've been there, if you have-what you think of it.

Yes I have. I was so small I could barely remember it but I have been there. Since I was small I can't say what I thought of it. But I have been there.

i've been to biltmore. it's an incredible estate. they did a great job preserving the mansion and utilizing the entire grounds. i especially like the way they adapted the carriage and house and stables into shops and places to eat. converting the dairy barn to a winery was also brilliant.

I have seen it while on vacation several years ago. It was on our list of things to do but we didn't get to this one. I would love to visit as it is huge and amazing architecture! I can't wait to go back to the Smokey Mountains. Now you have me wishing for vacation time!

I haven't been outside of the United Kingdom except for france. I would love to visit a few more places and share interesting adventures with my wife and son.
Would be very cool.

I haven't but my parents have.....they adored Ashville! They raved out it for months.

Hi bgerig long time no speak.LOL I have been to north carolina years ago and it was beautiful. I was alot younger infact I went with my parents so you know it was a long time ago. We might have been at the mansion I know we went to so many places. I love places like that I think they are so amazing I just stare at them.LOL

I have not visited this place that you mention. I have never heard of it before. However you now have me curious. I may make a trip there this summer when we travel south just to check it out. Thanks for telling me about it. It sounds really cool
