AVG Free Edition. It's free, fast and updated. But you must always connect to internet, so you'll get the update. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5

I have used many antivirus software and some suites but as for me in this moment the best seems to be bitdefender antivirus. They have also a suite rom bitdefender which is very good too!I think is very reliable and has a lot of good features and dont take too much memory to run!

I prefer AVG Antivirus. it really heals the computer specially those virus like trojan, spyware, e-mail spyware aside from that its free you dont have to buy it you just download it in their website. Norton & Mcafee antivirus is a bogus it slows your computer

I think avast is a good one. You can download it free from the internet. Norton is also a good one but you have to pay for it and the disadvantage is that many people try to sent a virus that settled in the popular virus programs like norton.
That is why I use avast.
