I am so unorganized. I have in my head all these things I want to do like wash clothes, vacuum, mop and while I am trying to get one thing done something else pops into my head that I need to do like clean the bathroom. It is like I can never get one task finished because I keep getting side tracked. But I have a million half done jobs. And I am not a quitter its just my mind keeps going in different directions. What do I do?

Sit down and write out a list of everything you need to get done. List them in order of importance, then do the first thing on the list. When you have it done and cross it off your list it will give the feeling of accomplishment and make you want to finish the list. I have different things I do on each day of the week. Like mondays are laundry day, tuesday clean the bathrooms day, wednesday's I bake etc.It helps me to have a plan.

Hi jbb I know the feeling. The problem is we are trying to get all these things done at once. And its impossible.LOL So what I do is just take one thing like say laundry I will start a load. Then I think what else I want to clean. So I will vaccum my livingroom. Then I wiil put my clothes in the dryer and think what else I need to clean. What I do is multitask. But always finish a job. If you leave it to do something else thats fine just always come back to in. Sometimes its good to make a list. Then you can check it off when done. Good luck

Thank you very much. I guess I do need to sit down and think about it first and figure out what I need to do before I get started and have a plan as to how I want to do it and in what order. Thank you for responding.

It's easy honey. Just write down on a paper all the things that you want to do. Then cross them off as you do each one. Good luck.

First of all make a list of all the things you need to get done. that always helps in organizing things. You can group together things that you can do together for eg: you can put in a load of clothes in your washing machine and go do some vacuuming. When you are cooking, wash some utensils side by side so you dont land up with a huge load at the end of it. That way your tasks will feel smaller and more manageable.

This happens to me a lot. I will start one task the not finish it and go to another. I agree with the others here. Make a list for little cleaning tasks to do each day. Your house should stay clean this way and always try to put things backin their place after you use them As for the laundry I do a load every single day. I always have a load in the washer or dryer each day. LOL

I also do a load of laundry every day but it seems I don't always have time to put them up and then it piles up and I feel I will never get caught back up.
