so now the food terrorism continues even further by contaminating the chicken we eat. and likely also the eggs.
FDA claims that poultry on 38 farms in the state of Indiana have been fed melamine from animal feed scraps.
ironic thing is, they give it to the chickens to boost the protein...but melamine is a lie, it is used to make an appearance of protein while being of no nutritional value. it is a filler and a killer.
God help us.

you can always do what I did and go vegan. You don't need chicken. Just stop eating it, stop supporting the chicken factories with you money.

that may not be able to work for us either - since the reason the animals have been fed this is because it is in the vegetable proteins that they are given for food! it is being placed in rice starches and in wheat gluten.
then again there is also the ecoli problems in such wonderful delights as spinach and peanutbutter.
sighs all around.

Note to self...this is a great time to go on a diet and become a vegetarian. I suppose I will just plant more in my garden and eat only my own veggies! Dried beans are an excellent source of protein...who needs meat.

Looks like I might as well give up eating, having a pet who eats, and what else?

That is disturbing. I like eating more chicken than beef. We'll have to pay attention to the news and the paper, just in case.

well, start growing your own veggies and other food. That's what it's coming to. Mad cow disease, melamine in chicken and fish (eggs too) e coli in spinach and lettuce and who knows what else. I think our best bet is to just grow the stuff at home and eat onyl what we, ourselves, personally grow. Either that or cook/boil the holy you know what out of everything. But who knows if that will help. There was barely any dog food left to feed our dogs, some people turned to preparing them food at home. Who knows, they could have been killing their dogs as well with the chicken too.
