A song for today

After watching Tony Blair's statement that's he's finally going to resign in June and being urged to think back to 10 years ago I felt like playing The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again. Sounded great at full blast.
They played it on Virgin Radio way back in 1997, either the morning of the election or the day Tony got in, at the time it sounded like a glorious two fingers to the Tories, til the realisation that we had been and their reraly wasn't much diference between the new boss and the old.
It's all too appropiate now as when (as increasingly likely) Cameron wins the election he's not going to be much different either.
so any other songs for Blair or other politicions (and don't say Things Can only Get Better that's what we thought last time ;-) )

Try "don't Give up" sang by Kate Bush, "don't go breaking my heart" Elton John, or if you wanna stick with the Who " Who are You?" lol
I am french, and jus seen the result of the election ... trust me it is not beter in France, I think generally we are conducted not by beliefs but by hope when we actually vote... praying for the next one to be less bad than the previous one !!

good choices
another one thinking of Elton John - Sorry seems to be the hardest word (especially about Iraq)
Going by what I've heard things are worse in France
but at least your more prepaired to take to the streets in outrage.

just like our philippine president gloria macapagal arroyo who announced in the last 2004 elections that she wouldn't run, she did in all her glory. then she said she didn't cheat in that elections, and she did, even said the infamous "I'm Sorry" on national tv. i can't think of a more fitting song that will really speak of this despicably,- words are just too soft for my disgust, but i will eventually.
